Curt Meltzer

Curt’s four decade long career in law transitioned to CEA project management and consulting after he and his partners founded Kentucky Fresh Harvest, a 10+ acre tomato farm. Since then he has been involved in establishing successful farms, turning around less than healthy facilities in CEA and assisting clients in their efforts to raise funds for their project, all through his unparalleled business acumen and critical analysis of the challenges that clients face as well as the opportunities available to them. He excels at connecting the dots and translating between the various “languages” that specialists speak. As a client advocate, Curt advises on the best approach to be successful and move through each phase of every project smoothly and securely with confidence.

Horticultural Engineer

JC Chidiac

JC is the founder of CultiBio and has a background in biological engineering, molecular biology, and applied horticulture. Since 2016, he has served the international CEA industry as an independent advisor, providing due diligence, designing farms, troubleshooting issues, training staff, and helping companies develop better products and consumables in horticulture. He has a passion for biology and problem solving, and has developed solutions for diverse crops and climates. He prioritizes economic, environmental, and human sustainability and strives to increase efficiency and resilience in the sector. Horticulture is extremely site specific, and JC believes that every project deserves a personal touch.

Senior Project Manager

Roland Chidiac

With a biomedical engineering background, Roland’s experience spans over three decades, including international project management from the concept phase to design, logistics, implementation, and commissioning. He is very well versed in cooperating with, and supporting planning and architectural firms through educational seminars on the latest state-of-the-art technological solutions in the field. He is also a firm believer in and proponent of Lean practices and Continuous Improvement techniques, which can benefit every CEA company by minimizing waste and increasing productivity. Roland’s passion for horticulture has lead him to venture into CEA consulting with the aim of increasing food security worldwide.
